Consent of Entry
By entering the service or event premises, you enter an area where photography, audio recording, and video recording may occur. By your presence, you consent to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of these recordings to be used for live streaming, social media, promotional purposes, advertising, website hosting, and any other purpose by Bay View UMC.
Waiver and Release
You release Bay View UMC, its clergy, church officers, employees, laity, and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication of these materials. You waive all rights to any claims for payment or royalties and any right to inspect or approve the final photo, video, or audio recordings.
Privacy and Children in Worship
We respect your privacy and focus our filming on the worship leaders and the chancel.
- Children’s Time: Please be aware that during the “Children’s Time” portion of our service, children gathered in the chancel area will be visible on our live stream and recorded media. While we do not use close-up zooms on individual faces, their participation in this area is a captured part of our worship broadcast.
- Congregational Views: Our cameras are positioned to capture the breadth of our worship; we do not use “close-up” zooms on individuals in the pews.
- Seating Preference: If you or your family prefer to be in an area with less camera visibility, seating toward the rear of the sanctuary is generally outside the primary focus of our forward-facing cameras.
